Am sad and in disbelief to know that Whitney Houston has died. Her voice and music was an inspiration to me. The Greatest Love Of All, Saving All My Love For You, All At Once....those songs I grew up listening to and sang along with...she will be greatly missed but her music will stay with us forever.

HMV in Central

I just heard that HMV in Central is closing in a couple of weeks...This is very very VERY sad. Central is turning into a cultural desert for books, music CD's and DVD's.? It is so upsetting to hear that massive rent increases from landlords are forcing more shops that serve everyone in the area to close and be replaced by more and more high-end fashion brands. Feels as though human necessities, availability and made accessible to consumers, are being controlled and manipulated by greedy landlords.
